Ms. Farrell was awarded an Innovative Educator grant in 2014 for the construction of the Hubbard Kinder-Garden. In a quest to identify real-world problems and solutions, the garden will provide students a variety of opportunities. The students will observe seasonal changes, follow plant life cycles, engage in cooperative responsibility. The garden provides a living laboratory right outside the kindergarden and pre-K classrooms. The children and teachers did some planting in the Fall and are eagerly awaiting the fruits of their labor this Spring. Ms. Farrell, Mrs. Finnegan, and Ms. Schinski dressed as flowers for Halloween to celebrate the new garden.
