Read below for a detailed list of how the $92,214 raised was used in the 2025-2026 academic year. These grants fund a wide range of programs and technologies in all five Ramsey public schools.
Major Fundraising Events
The Ramsey Public Education Foundation hosts a variety of events through the year. Our two largest events are the RPEF Fall Gala (formally known as Ladies’ Night Out) and Sprint for Our Schools 5K and Fun Run in the Spring. These two events are major fundraisers for the Foundation and are important factors in our ability to grant funds to all five Ramsey public schools.
We also plan smaller fundraising events which have included Dining Give-Back nights at various area restaurants, attendance at Ramsey Day in September, an outing to a Rockland Boulders minor-league baseball game, and we’ve published a community cookbook. We hope this variety of events will give everyone involved with the Ramsey Public School District a chance to contribute to our success.
RPEF Fall Gala
Each autumn, RPEF hosts a spectacular Fall Gala. This event has been sold out every year in recent memory. Attendance is typically more than 300 for a great evening complete with delicious food, cocktails, and the chance to win over 150 gorgeous raffle baskets and over 100 Teacher Treasure experiences. RPEF Trustees work diligently throughout the summer and early fall to gather valuable donations from area businesses and families so that we can put together awesome raffle baskets.
Teacher and Town Treasures
Teacher Treasures are unique experiences that are auctioned in shortly after the Fall Gala each year. These one-of-a-kind opportunities are offered online only, and open to anyone who would like to give a Ramsey student a memorable experience, whether or not you had an opportunity to join us for the Fall Gala. Teachers, Staff, and Administrators, along with the Mayor and Fire Chief have generously offered these special experiences, donating their own time and energy so that we may raise money for our schools. We are so grateful for their support!
Sprint For Our Schools 5K and Fun Run
The Sprint for Our Schools 5K and Fun Run is a community tradition that brings together runners, walkers, families, and friends to support Ramsey’s schools. This annual event features a USATF-certified 5K course and a family-friendly Fun Run, making it a great day for participants of all ages and abilities. Proceeds directly benefit our mission of funding innovative programs and resources that enrich the educational experience of every Ramsey student.
Birthday Yard Card
Celebrate your child’s special day with the RPEF Birthday Yard Card! For a donation, Ramsey families can surprise their loved ones with a colorful birthday greeting displayed right on their front lawn. It’s a fun and festive way to mark the occasion, while also supporting the Ramsey Public Education Foundation’s mission to bring innovative programs and resources to our schools.
